Calgary4fun was founded by `RED_ELMO` on Jan 12 , 2000.`RED_ELMO knew people from his old channel #calgaryparty (which was shut down by Sethink and Hexxoxox), so he invited them to #calgary4fun. At that instant he changed his nick to `RED_ELMO from can_u_tell_me_something since that nick was frozen. rusty_rake was the first person to join the channel. AngelDemon was another person who followed . A total of 6 people did , and they were the ones who supported the channel at first. AngelDemon taught `RED_ELMO` how to use the chanserv commands and then asked him to add him. All the talkative people were in #calgary4fun which helped it grow. Another factor that contributed to this growth was the triviabot that was in the channel. And members like Arsonal brought his real life friends Pantaloon and andyrad because they were hot and cool. The channel then had a bunch of regulars which keep the channel alive.........etc etc So take the opportunity to check out the channel when you are on Dalnet.
